A mixed bag of artists attended the Acrylic Tuition Day with Ivan.

Ranging from absolute beginners, through to those experienced in other media to those already familiar with acrylics, Ivan was able to offer something to all of us.

All materials were provided so artists were able to just turn up and enjoy themselves.

After choosing a suitable tone for their background, the artists used large brushes to sketch out their painting. This was not a time for great detail, and it was liberating for quite a few of us.

After his initial demonstration, Ivan was kept busy giving considered advice and encouragement.

It was an exciting day and we left with a feeling of achievement.
